Stanton Smith
Stanton is the Head Boys coach. He played at SMC for two years and graduated from Cal State Northridge, CSUN. He has 10 plus years of coaching beach volleyball and is currently the assistant coach at Cal State Northridge, 2 years as head coach at Samohi and club coach for Pac6 indoors. He plays professionally in AVP and CBVA events. Son of legend Sinjin Smith, Stanton is one of the founders of the boys Sinjin Beach program.

Maleya Miles (Zuma Director)
Maleya Miles is a dedicated and experienced beach and indoor volleyball coach with a strong background in player development, mentorship, and team leadership. She is a Division I student-athlete at California State University, Northridge (CSUN), where she competes on the university’s beach volleyball team while pursuing a dual degree in Psychology and Child/Adolescent Development.
Maleya has coached at well-known programs including Chaminade College Preparatory School, SoCal Legends Volleyball Club, and other beach clubs. She brings a player-centered coaching philosophy that emphasizes technical growth, confidence building, and character development. Her approach focuses on fostering a strong work ethic, teamwork, and resilience—on and off the sand.
